At Althea Room, we believe technology should respect your human boundaries. We do not operate an advertising model, we do not profile your behavior across the web, and we never sell personal information to third parties.

## Information collected on our website

When you visit althearoom.com, you can browse freely and experience our soundscape player without registering an account or submitting personal data.

If you submit an early access or partner inquiry form, we collect your email address and any optional fields you provide (such as your name, role, organization, or message). These form submissions are transmitted securely to our API origin at api.althearoom.com for the purpose of communicating updates and reviewing partner requests.

When you sign in to an authenticated account, authentication sessions and basic account profile details are processed to grant access to account features.

## Local storage and client-side preferences

We use local browser storage exclusively for functional site preferences, such as remembering your light or dark mode theme selection and active sound mixer settings.

We do not use third-party analytics trackers, behavioral ad pixels, social network widgets, or fingerprinting scripts on our public website.

## How we use your information and retention

We use submitted contact information solely to send updates regarding Althea Room software, evaluate collaboration inquiries, and respond to your messages.

We retain contact submissions to communicate product updates, evaluate partnership requests, and respond to your messages. Inquiries regarding submitted contact information or requests to delete your contact details may be sent directly to hello@althea.room with the subject line 'Privacy Request'.
